Fiverr is the original freelance service marketplace; established in 2010, this website is home to digital professionals from all areas – from graphics and design, to programming and onto writing and translation, with services packaged into fixed rate products.
Since its early days Fiverr has moved away from every service being a flat $5 – with sellers now able to define higher prices (which is not necessarily a bad thing, as every service on here should rightly demand more of an investment than what equates to around £3.30). Examples of these services include “design a business card in 3 days, for $15”, “dominate YouTube for a given keyword for $25” and “provide 135 Google map citations for local SEO for $5”.
Other freelancer websites that are worth a look include People Per Hour (which is notably the only other platform to offer pre-packaged freelance services the way that Fiverr do) as well as Freelancer and Guru.
